Try this refreshing recipe for a hot summer evening…It is taken from our cookbook, “Tea at Gypsy’s”
Assemble the following ingredients…
1 large cantaloupe, rind removed and diced
1 small honeydew melon, rind removed and diced
1 13 oz can peaches, juice reserved
1/4 cup honey
3 cups sour cream
2 tsp cinnamon
In a blender, puree melons, peaches, and peach syrup, leaving mixture a little chunky. Add remaining ingredients and puree until smooth.
Cover and chill for at least 2 hours. Serve well chilled and garnished with mint leaves or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
